JBTM Cover Concept

This was the original concept design for the cover of my novel (back and front cover) before I decided to split the first book into two volumes. I tried to physically paint the front and then took it to the computer (an image I might eventually upload when my comp is fixed- cursing myself for not having saved a copy on my usb drive) These were scanned seperately and put together (unevenly because the black paper I used was too big for the scanner)

Now that the book is going to be two possible volumes this image doesn't really apply to either so I'll have to think up something different. Until then however I have to split the two books, edit them, find a scene that represents each properly without giving too much away then I can draw.... while awaiting a lit agent or publisher to accept my work...
